Kolkata Musing has been consistently about events that stir – to my understanding of them – the imagination of Kolkattans. In course of time I realized that it is humanly impossible to cover all the ‘soul-stirring’ events as they occur because it’s only that much I can write on as is possible with my 2 not-so-able hands and a not-so-fertile brain.
Even there, as many well-wishers have pointed out, there is a lot that an be dealt upon, for example the myriad images of the city and the gastronomic delight that Bengali food offers to name just 2 of them.
And so armed with my readers’ egging on, I decided why not write on the 2 subjects above. But I felt the present page design is perhaps not up to the mark to serve the new fares.
And the quintessential nitpicker that I am, no sooner the thoughts crossed my mind, I’ve yet again embarked on another facelift or makeover for Kolkata Musing. The last time KM changed was hardly 5 months back! I’m not at all sure if this would be the last one, but for the moment I’m through with my new page design.
This template is admittedly a ready choice from Blogger. I’ve only retrofitted it with few alterations here, and some there.
How is the makeover? To me it’s gorgeous. But that doesn’t matter. Because like any blogger, I too am aware that it’s the readers who will ultimately opine if the new look is at all pleasing to eyes and feels compelling to stop by and lend some time to go through.
Okay then, I leave to you to pass judgment on my latest effort.
