People in Bangladesh and in the entire east and southeast Asia including Japan and parts of China mainly eat rice. I once inquired about roti in Singapore and immediately wished I hadn’t. It’s as futile to look for veg dishes in any of these countries as for roti.
Race 2 – A Review
Maybe I have been over-exposed to better, world cinema and suspense thrillers are my favourite genre. But that would be giving way more credit to Race 2 than it deserves. Despite all the brouhaha, Race 2 disappoints even as a typical Bollywood potboiler.
It is Diwali time
Diwali which marks the return of Ram from his fourteen years in exile in the present time means so much more than just his return. The multifarious activities that revolve around it would have been beyond ram’s power to comprehend.

[Picture above courtesy TT] It’s something that many say has never happened before. But since all […]

Some amount does seem to have rubbed off but in a wrong way, for otherwise the honorable MLAs, Rabindranath Bhattacharya and Rabindranath Ghosh wouldn’t be what they are today. They have of late […]
