It was almost inside with the gulp, but a fifth of it just won’t come in. And now the hope of having the full is abandoned. This is what best describes DHL’s dilemma with India’s biggest private courier, Blue Dart.
To recall my Aug 16 post, Blue Dart is now DHL’s, things looked certain that Blue Dart would indeed cease to exist, for if DHL had acquired it, it would’ve been de-listed from stock exchanges.
But it all started going awry shortly thereafter. Maintaining a steady climb, the stock is now valued at Rs.950 apiece through what is termed as reverse book-building process. Too hot, feels DHL, for its offer price was way down at Rs.550.
Well, not every seed gives a plant. Let it be some other day, some other time.
