Howrah station from the river

September 8, 2007 By Partha Bhattacharya Leave a Comment

If you haven’t seen Howrah station for a long time from the place this image has been shot, blame it on the authorities. They are callous, and everyone knows that. But can they be as callous as hiding a beauty from the view and promote some ugly shanties in its place?

They do that as well, and therefore they are just not callous, they are fools too. Not that any of this writing will make any difference to them.

They are so long in power that no amount of public wrath is strong enough to penetrate their impervious skin, come what may.

Meanwhile let’s be content with partial sight of the grand façade of Howrah station from the river with no chance of vice-versa.
