Making money online? Start with a website

The phrase ‘making money online’ is now omnipresent. Check any 10 sites, the chance is you’ll stumble upon at least one that tells you how to make money online.

As one engaged in this, I’ll be writing here about the different ways people earn money (ethically of course) on the Internet. Some of them make loads of money, some less, others much less.

But make no mistake. The first step to online moneymaking is to have your own website. Yes, you can be an affiliate, not own a website, and yet make money. Yes also, you can auction your items on eBay and make decent money. I’ll be coming to those as well later.

However, it’ll usually not be long before you conclude that owning your own space is the best long-term bet to make money online.

I’ve a video below that explains the many advantages of having a website. The good part about it is that you can start a website on any matter – your passion, your hobby, your professional experience, or may be just full of information like this site.

Lastly, I’ve often faced the question: how many websites can one own? Well, you know the answer, don’t you? The answer is ‘as many as you want’. But then the right answer will perhaps be ‘as many as you can manage’.
